Sometimes we take for granted the importance being healthy, until we get sick. That's exactly what happen to me every time I comedown with any type of illness.

I was feeling great Friday morning wishing it was Saturday already so I could take my Math 032 test for unit 3. Since this class is an 80% internet home activity, I had to pass this test in order for me to keep studying at home the following chapters.

It happens that on Friday night a had eaten dinner from a local restaurant, and felt so sick afterwards. I think a got infected with what we call a stomach virus. It kept me up all Friday night until 6:00 o'clock on the following morning.

I was feeling so sick that I was able to sleep for only two hours before my math class. I was still feeling sick and going to the bathroom several times one after the other. I had to ask my brother to go to the pharmacy and get me some Imodium AD, so I could make it to school and take my test. It calm me down for a while.

Even though I got to school 2 hours late because it was raining hard, I was able to take the test. I had to ask Prof. Mohamed to excuse me because I wasn't feeling good and left after I took my test. They banned Imodium AD back home because it cause high blood pressure. We don't realized how important health is in our every day life until we get sick.

Life in New York City is very accelerated that sometimes we don't stop and take a break to watch out for our health. Health is very important. Every time I get better after being down with any type of sickness I say the same thing............"it sucks being sick!"
