There's nothing better than music!

Music has always been one of my passions. I rather listen to music than watch television. When I was a child my mother would listen to music on the weekends while doing chores around the house. We would listen to all kinds of music.

Even though that we all speak Spanish and none of us understood English at that time, we would listen to music in English from Abba to Donna Summer and even Michael Jackson.

We'd enjoy our typical music like the ones coming from the Andes that was mostly instrumental, and at the same time would enjoy classical music from Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss.

And also when we went to mostly family's house parties we would enjoy listening and dancing to the rhythm of Salsa, Merengues, Cumbias, and not to leave behind disco.

When I came to this country I found a huge variety of music because like we all Spanish people say New York is the capital of the world because there are ethnic groups from all around the world and with them they brought their music.

I enjoy all kinds of music with the exception of rap and heavy rock because all they do is curse and send a wrong message specially to our kids.

When I feel a little down or I'm stressful, all I have to do is listen to music and it will lift up my spirit so I keep on going with my everyday life.
