A telephone's handset, an object that best describe me!

Hi everybody, my name is Victor Palma. I’m 40 years old, starting school again after putting it aside for 7 years. I’m here at DeVry as well of all of you to get an education and trying to pursue a career. Hopefully I’ll get my bachelor’s in Technical Management with concentration in Accounting in about two years or less. I’m kind of old fashion, but with the knowledge of today’s technology.

When I was growing up my grandma, my mother, and my uncles and aunts always taught all of us to care for others like they were our own brothers and sisters. And I had, this is why I find a handset from a telephone like the object that is more representative of me.

As we all know a telephone is an instrument that sends and receives voice messages and it's sent to great distances. When people that know me well like my friends and family need a piece of advice, a favor of any kind or just talk to someone they usually call me.

A telephone's handset contains a transmitter that transfer the caller's voice, in my case my friends and relatives, and a receiver that amplifies sound from an incoming call. Sound that relevant to my case transforms in my voice giving that piece of advice or responding with a "yes" to that favor he or she needs from me.

When I see that I can't help with a requested favor, I always find a way and at least address him or her to the right person that can be of help. I obtained an Associate Degree in Accounting at Plaza College and at the graduation ceremony I was awarded the "Citizenship Medal" for always trying to help others. Whether is a favor or a piece of advice if you know I could be helpful pick up your telephone's handset and call me!
